Dear Oak Ridge Community, Students, and Faculty,
I'm incredibly excited and honored to join the Oak Ridge School District! I've been so inspired by your dedication to educating every child, every day and your vision of Inspiring Excellence in All. It's clear that Oak Ridge is a community that truly believes in fostering success for every student.
With 24 years in education, including 22 years teaching secondary science and 5 in secondary administration, I've had the privilege of witnessing the power of strong communities firsthand. My recent experience as a K-5 administrator has also given me a broader appreciation for how families and communities contribute to a student's educational journey.
On a personal note, I'd love to introduce my family. My daughter, Blair, will be starting her freshman year at Lindenwood this fall, where she'll be playing volleyball. My son, Collin, a Mineral Area College graduate, will also be attending Lindenwood as a junior, pursuing a history major. My husband, Shannon, serves our community as a criminal investigator for MSHP in DDCC. We are all so grateful for this amazing opportunity and are eager to make Oak Ridge our forever home!
I'm truly looking forward to supporting our students' academic, athletic, and extracurricular growth. Together, let's continue to inspire excellence in every student!
