WHO WE ARE

The Oak Ridge R-VI School District was organized as a high school district in 1874. It has been recognized as the oldest continuous public high school district west of the Mississippi River. The district comprises 82.96 square miles of the northwest section of Cape Girardeau County. The district also has 1.10 square miles of Bollinger County and 2.62 square miles of Perry County.

Oak Ridge offers education to students Early Childhood through 12th grade. Our enrollment averages 375 students EC-12 grade annually. Oak Ridge is focused on educating every child, every day. Our administration team and educators focus on students through District Continuous Improvement focus.
