Not only did the softball team win their first game of the district tournament 9-0 over SCC, this sophomore standout pitched a perfect game! That's great pitching and great defense! Way to go girls. Next game will be played at Advance on Monday 5/6 at 5:45pm vs the winner of the Delta/Oran game.

Monday 4/29: HSSB/HSBb vs Oran 4:30pm; these games are highly unlikely to happen at our place or at Oran. Oran is going to assess their fields and we could move this game to their place. Stay tuned.
Tuesday 4/30: JH/HS Band Concert 7pm in the HS gym; HSBb District Tournament seed meeting 11am.
Wednesday 5/1: HSSB vs Ste. Gen JV 4:30pm
Thursday 5/2: HSSB District Tournament @ Advance 1:30pm; HSBb vs East Prairie 4:30pm
Friday 5/3: HSBb vs Chaffee @ Capaha Park 4:30pm
Monday 5/6: HSSB District Tournament @ Advance vs winner of Advance/MH 4pm (if victorious on 5/2); HSBb @ Crystal City 4:30pm

Oak Ridge R-VI Free Little Library Announcement: Oak Ridge School is pleased to announce the addition of a "free little library" in honor of Oak Ridge 2019 graduate, Sarah Whitener, who was called home too soon. Sarah was an avid reader and we are pleased to pay tribute to her in this way. Stop by to get a free book, leave a free book, and remember Sarah. This library is located outside the HS entrance. Attached is Sarah's senior graduation slide and pictures of her family gathered around the free little library: Christy Bishop, Rodney Bishop, Zackery Whitener, Tyler Bishop, Jesse Bishop, and CJ Bishop
