IN 2 DAYS: Dodge ball/game night in the new gym, Friday, Feb 2 from 6-8 pm. Some games added: 3 ft wide inflatable soccer ball for human foosball! Glow in the dark capture the flag, cornhole boards. and possibility of spikeball! Along with board games. Snacks served too!
All 6-12 grade students are invited at no cost. Invite some one and join us!!
Menu Changes:
1-30-24: Lunch-country fried steak, mashed potatoes, milk gravy, mixed vegetables, bread, fruit, milk
2-1-24: Lunch-chili, 1/2 peanut butter sandwich, crackers, carrot sticks, applesauce, milk
Second entree choice in February will be peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Monday 1/29: No Games
Tuesday 1/30: HSBB, JV only @ Oran Scott Miss Conference Tournament vs Chaffee starting at 4pm.
Wednesday 1/31: HSBB @ Oran Scott Miss Conference Tournament; JV (if they lose on Tuesday) 5pm vs TBA; Varsity 6:15 vs Delta
Thursday 2/1: HSGB Senior Night, varsity only vs Meadow Hts, 6pm. We will recognize our senior before the game starts.
Friday 2/3: HSBB @ Oran Scott Miss Conference Tournament varsity and JV TBD. Games could be at 4pm for varsity and if our JV wins on Tuesday, they will play at 6:30pm. I'll keep you posted throughout the week. Good luck to all the teams.

After much consideration (& travel), Oak Ridge will be out of school today, 1-22-24. The temp is hovering at 31° and precipitation is falling. See you tomorrow!!
I am watching the forecast for tomorrow morning. 🌨️ A decision regarding closing will be made in the morning. Please be sure to be prepared with alternate plans for your kids in case we have to close.

Good evening! Here is the schedule for this week. Week of 1/22- 1/27.
Monday 1/22: No Games
Tuesday 1/23: HSBB vs Oran, JV/V starting at 6pm
Wednesday 1/24: HSGB Scott Miss Conference TRN @ Kelly HS. JV plays East Prairie (Championship Game) 4:30pm and varsity will play Charleston at 5:45pm in the consolation semi-final.
Thursday 1/25: HSBB vs Marquand (varsity only) 6pm; HSGB @ Kelly Scott Miss Conf TRN consolation finals 5pm.
Friday 1/26: No Games
Saturday 1/27: HSBB Scott Miss Conf TRN @ Oran TBA. Seed meeting is Monday 1/22 and I will send out the schedule when it is released.

BlueJay Fans, I have some important news regarding the boys game tonight @ Chaffee. We WILL travel to Chaffee tonight to play the Red Devils, the boys game is on.
