Need something to do on a Friday night? Oak Ridge FFA is putting on a Haunted House at Oak Ridge High School, in the FFA Shop. This will take place Friday, 10/27/23 starting at 6pm. They will be open to scare you until 10pm. Cost of admission to be scared for your life is just $5. We hope to see you there.
Here is the schedule as well as other important information regarding the HSXC District meet at Notre Dame on Saturday, 10/28/23.
Class 1 Boys 11:40 am; Class 1 Girls 12:20 pm
There is a $6 admission through MSHSAA for all spectators, please make your parents aware. We are doing a cash gate.
Liquids may be given to runners during the race but if doing so causes interference for another runner the runner receiving the liquid may be disqualified.
Pacing (taking more than three consecutive strides with a runner on or near the course) may result in the runner being disqualified.
Please remind your parents and fans that the area near the finish line has long switchbacks so they need to be alert for runners on the course as they move in that area and anywhere near the course.
The top 30 runners and top two teams will receive awards fifteen minutes after the conclusion of the last race for their class. The awards will be near the flag pole by the schools main entrance.
There is a lot of parking at Notre Dame but many spots are a distance from the course. Please remind fans that they may have some walking to do to reach the course, so they should arrive on sight well before the race that they came to see.
There will be a twenty minute gun and a ten minute gun before each race, and three minutes before runners will be called to the line, have warmups completed by that time.

Its’s District Championship Day for our HS Volleyball team! Best of luck ladies! Go win that District Title.
They will play at 12:15 vs St. Vincent at Brentwood HS.

We ran a great race today at Clayton. Lots of fast running. Congratulations to everyone on a great regular season. We have a week break, then it’s District Tournament next Saturday at Notre Dame. Great job coaches and team!

Tuesday 10/17: JHGB Conference Tournament @ Delta Championship TBD (if we win on Monday); JHBB vs Meadow Heights 6pm; HSXC Heartland Conference Meet @ Cape 4pm
Wednesday 10/18: HSVB Class 1 District 4 Tournament @ Brentwood 4:15pm
Thursday 10/19: No Games
Friday 10/20: HSXC @ Clayton 4pm
Saturday 10/21: HSVB Class 1 District 4 Tournament @ Brentwood Championship Game 12pm, (if we win on Wednesday)

Who doesn't love a teacher treat day on Friday the 13th. "Happy Fall Y'all, It's apple pickin time", was brought to the teachers, compliments of PTO! Thank you PTO for the amazing treat today and everything you do for the faculty and staff everyday.
