Play Day is in full swing.....Oak Ridge Style! We are sending our kiddos into summer with a fun day of relay races, food trucks, a bounce house, game stations, a petting zoo, bubble, hair color, and temporary tattoo stations! We will post a link to a folder with photos in this week's newsletter. Thank you to everyone who has donated time or money to help us have a successful play day. Thank you to the food truck vendors that have come to help us celebrate!
Remember, tomorrow is the last day of school for students. Students will attend all day as normal. Thank you for letting us spend time with your family this year!
Good evening. Just wanted to keep everyone updated.
South Iron received 4 inches of rain last night. SI said there is water in right field but he is going to shop vac it off and have the field ready for tomorrow. They are going to push the games back with the first game starting at 3, our game will be played at 5, and the championship game will be played at 7. Coach Dinkins (SI AD) assured me he will have it ready tomorrow. I understand it will put students back late for Finals on Thursday, and I do apologize, but we really need to get these games in. If you need your son to ride back with other parents please send me an email or a signed note to the office and I will make sure we get a copy to Coach Friese.

Important update for the softball district tournament @ Advance. With rain in the forecast for Friday, MSHSAA has agreed to move the first round of district play to Thursday, 5/4 and our girls will play at 4pm. Good luck to the girls!
Our boys baseball team received the #1 seed in the Class 1 District 3 District Tournament. They will play on 5/15 at 2pm @ South Iron High School. I have attached the link for the tournament bracket. More information will be shared once we get bus times and dismissal times coordinated.

Update with girls softball schedule for this week. With the forecasted rain starting Thursday evening, we have decided to move the Woodland softball game to tomorrow, 5/3 with a 4pm start time. This will be the last home softball game for the girls. Let me know if you have any questions.

Softball District Tournament Update: Softball girls received the 4th seed in the District Tournament and will play Friday, 5/5 @ Advance vs Delta starting at 4pm. The tournament bracket has not been updated on MSHSAA just yet but I will share the link when it becomes available.
Just received the text. Due to wet field conditions, the softball game at NMCC scheduled for today has been cancelled. Unfortunately, with the district tournament starting next week, we will not be able to make this game up. I will send out district tournament information as soon as I receive the information.
