American Edudation Week ! this week, Nov 13-18
We need elementary parents to participate in the following ways:
1) Look for an "apple paper" to come home tonight and write in your favorite school memory, discuss it with your child, then send it back for students to discuss on Tuesday.
2) Help your child decide what future career they'd like to pursue and coordinate an outfit for them for Thursday of this week.
3)Send in any thank you notes you may have for faculty or staff members this week.
Your elementary students are writing thank you notes to staff and about what they would do if they were a teacher or a principal for a day.

Menu Change this Week Alert!
Thursday--Cheese Pizza Crunchers instead of Sausage Pizza.

The Oak Ridge R-6 School District is working with the Southeast Regional Professional Development Center (RPDC) to rewrite our long-range plan called CSIP (Continuous School Improvement Plan). A vital part of this process involves getting input from all stakeholders in our community. This includes students, parents, teachers, administrators, school staff, Board of Education, and community members. The RPDC has conducted focus group discussions with each of these groups and has developed an on-line survey for everyone to complete. Please take a few minutes and complete the survey. It is very important that we have input from everyone as we identify goals that we will use as a focus for the next three to five years. We have a great school district. Let’s see how we can make it even better.
